There’s a new face on board the Nigerian Idol show and he is none other than Afrobeat legend, Femi Kuti. Most of us would like to see Femi Kuti on Nigerian Idols to lend his experience and musical expertise to the show. Femi Kuti, who is rather conservative will be bringing his wealth of experience that has over the years earned him several international awards and three Grammy award nominations.
In his words, “ I am honoured to be part of Nigerian Idol, a show that discovers talents across the country in music. Saying I love music is like saying snow is white. I’d like to be part of moulding many more talents with Nigerian Idol, this year.”
We are eager to see the new twists and turns that the Afrobeat legend would bring to the show.
This season’s prize is valued at $100,000 and the elements are thus; N7.5 million cash, a recording contract and an SUV.
