R.I.P Patty Obasi
Gospel singer Patty Obasi has passed away.
Obasi who had been battling a critical
ailment – kidney failure for over a year had been recommended for a
transplant but couldn’t travel because of lack of funds. NET gathered
that Obasi need not less than N10m to replace his two failed kidneys in
India.
He died in his Enugu residence on Friday, October 26, 2012, after he reportedly slipped into unconsciousness.
‘Brother died at his house this
morning and his body had been deposited in the mortuary. He could not go
for the kidney transplant in India as recommended by his doctor at the
University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, UNTH, Enugu’, his sister told The Vanguard.
