Governor Fashola yesterday Thursday November 29th ordered the arrest
of a policeman riding a motorcycle on Lagos/Abeokuta expressway.
The governor spotted the policeman when his convoy was passing on the
Ikeja section of the expressway. Policemen in the governor’s convoy
effected the arrest and immediately whisked him away in their van.
Fashola
later told newsmen that the arrest was to serve as a deterrent to those
who felt that they were above the law and so could break the state’s
laws.
“There is no one above the law in the state. People who are not prepared to obey our laws should leave the state.
“There
is no society where laws are not broken, but the state government would
continue to increase its enforcement so that there will be high level
of compliance”, he said. (PM News)

The ex-beauty queen/rapper and the legendary hip-hop rapper,
Modenine, got into a verbal misunderstanding at the “Nokia Don’t Break
The Beat Competition” based on clashing opinions. The last two runner up
were TKO and Black Jesus.
[Judges: Modenine, DJ Jimmy Jatt and Rogba Knighthouse CEO]
Modenine (chief judge), chose TKO based on his lyrical content,
originality and delivery but fine girl rapper disagreed on the spot
right in front of fans, contestants, organisers and cameras broadcasting
to millions of viewers. Muna as the host doesn’t have a say before the
three (3) judges conclude — even at all, but guess the judges have made
her too comfortable.
“I disagree, pass the mic mehn!”. Young lady with less experience in
hip-hop music and hosting. Muna, that was not professional and plain
disrespectful. It’s so sad how soon you’ve forgotten about the G-code.
Muna needs to apologise to Modenine on this one. DOWNLOAD
