We’ve basically seem him grow from a young rapper signed to a label and producer ID Cabasa who groomed him to a man of his own, suffice to say, Olamide has come of age.
While some might argue that his debut album ‘Rapsodi‘
was released just too early as he still sounded too much like a rookie,
we can tell you the rapper’s current state of mind is quite matured.
He’s now parted ways with his record label and is ready to fully stand
on his own.
Already having a cult following, quite
similar to that of the late Dagrin, Olamide has been able to shed of the
skin of an upcoming act and transformed into a lyrical heavyweight. His
new album ‘YBNL‘ (which means Yahoo Boy, No Laptop) has hit the streets.
